BOSS WAZA-AIR Wireless Personal Guitar Amplification System

Listen privately to your electric guitar playing in a highly realistic manner with the BOSS WAZA-AIR Wireless System, which comprises a WL-T Transmitter and a pair of Bluetooth headphones. This is a wireless headphone system that offers Bluetooth audio streaming from smartphones and tablets, as well as tons of amp emulations and effects, all editable from your smartphone or tablet.

BOSS has built these headphones with 50mm custom-made drivers to give you a full frequency response. You'll also note the onboard spatial technology to recreate the feel of an amp in a room. BOSS has even included a gyro sensor, so you can move your head around and experience a realistic shift in phase and tone. Three built-in ambience selections are on hand.

The WAZA-AIR offers five amplifier emulations and over 50 customizable effects. After a quick setup procedure, you can plug your Boss WL-T transmitter into your guitar's input to hear the sound of your electric guitar transmitted to your headphones at digital wireless (2.4 GHz) ultralow latency.

The transmitter battery charge will last up to 12 hours at a clip, and the headphones last up to 5 hours. Both are powered from built-in, rechargeable batteries.

The WAZA-AIR features tones and controls derived from Katana amplifiers with full user customization and a variety of ready-to-play presets available via the free BOSS Tone Studio app. Five different amp types provide tones from classic clean to high gain, plus a full-range voice that's suitable for both bass and acoustic-electric guitar. Over 50 effects are available as well, including mod, delay, and reverb effects optimized for WAZA-AIR's spatial experience. With six onboard memories, you can store favorite setups and recall them with dedicated buttons.

Choose Your Space

WAZA-AIR's ambience setup provides three realistic environments to play in. Surround mode places the amp in a virtual room, providing an immersive experience like playing in a recording studio. Things get even more real with Static mode, where the combined amp and room sounds change depending on where you move your head. Finally, Stage mode lets you step into the spotlight with the amp sound coming from a virtual backline behind you.

Stream Music and Take Center Stage

In addition to providing a wireless connection to BOSS Tone Studio, WAZA-AIR's built-in Bluetooth lets you jam along with songs and backing tracks from your smartphone or tablet. Song volume and playback can be controlled right from WAZA-AIR, with no need to touch your mobile device.
