Returns & Exchanges

Like you, we're musicians here at The Sound Parcel. We want you to love your gear but also realize that sometimes equipment just doesn't work out. In the event that you wish to return an item that was purchased, here's what you need to know.

E-mail support@thesoundparcel.co to initiate returns and exchanges. 

New Items

Most new items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. We simply ask that items are returned in their original condition. 

New items are subject to a 15% restocking fee if:

  • manufacturer sealed packaging is broken or if item shows any sign of use, wear and/or tear.
  • any item contents are missing, such as the original box, manuals, cables, promotional materials or any other of the item's contents.
  • received in a condition which precludes resale of item as new.
  • we reserve the right to raise or lower the restocking fee percentage.

Used, Vintage, Demo & B-Stock Items

Most used, vintage, demo & b-stock items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a store credit only. 

Special Conditions

We reserve the right to periodically review customer accounts. If it is determined that a high percentage of returns exist on the order history, a restocking fee maybe assessed on any refund request.


Final Sale Items

Items marked Final Sale have been deeply discounted and are not eligible for returns, exchanges or refunds. If you have any questions regarding Final Sale items, please reach out to our customer service team through live chat, email ( hello@thesoundparcel.co ), or phone 484-291-4327 prior to purchase. Final Sale items do not qualify for returns or exchanges unless proof can be provided within 3 days of receipt that the item arrived in a condition different from the product description; faulty, damaged, and/or incorrectly advertised. Returns that do not meet this criteria will be charged a restocking fee.

Return Shipment Instructions

Please ensure that the item is packed safely for the return shipment.

  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
  • If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund.

Additional Policies

Some items cannot be returned because they are consumable or for copyright or sanitary reasons. Examples of non-returnable items are: guitar & bass strings, analog tape & cassettes, drum heads, drum sticks, consumable items, cleaning products, software, all forms of media (books, tapes, CDs/DVDs, etc), DIY kits/electronics, special order items,  headphones / earbuds, microphones, as well as other items designed to come in contact with the mouth or ears.

Please Note: Returns must be received within the return eligibility period to be accepted and processed. Returns will only be accepted with an approved return authorization.

We typically process all refunds within 48 hours of the return being received. Credit card refunds take 2-4 business days to post to your account, but could vary based upon your bank's processing times.
