Like you, we're musicians here at The Sound Parcel. We want you to love your gear but also realize that sometimes equipment just doesn't work out. For that reason, we encourage our customers to take advantage of our rentals to try gear before you buy.

In the event that you wish to return an item that was purchased, here's what you need to know.

New Items

Most new items may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. We simply ask that items are returned in their original condition. 

New items are subject to a 15% restocking fee if:

  • packaging is opened or if item shows any sign of use, wear and/or tear.
  • any item contents are missing, such as the original box, manuals, cables, promotional materials or any other of the item's contents.

Used, Vintage & Demo Items

Most used, vintage & demo items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a store credit only. 

Return Shipment Instructions

Please ensure that the item is packed safely for the return shipment.

  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
  • Any outbound shipping charges are not refundable.

Additional Policies

Some items cannot be returned because they are consumable or for copyright or sanitary reasons. Examples of non-returnable items are: guitar & bass strings, analog tape & cassettes, drum heads, drum sticks, cleaning products, software, books, microphones, headphones, as well as other items designed to come in contact with the mouth or ears.

We typically process all refunds within 48 hours of the return being received. Credit card refunds take 2-4 business days to post to your account, but could vary based upon your bank's processing times.
