WARMTH. TEXTURE. BITE. REAL VALVE. This one takes playing to appreciate, fully. Years in development and the Electric Lightning has finally landed. The wait was worth it. Thorpy collaborated with Chris Buck for Electric Lightning, who road tested multiple iterations. The production unit is now... perfect! Learn more about what this real valve drive/boost can do for your sound, by clicking on the image above!
From Thorpy: "THE ELECTRIC LIGHTNING has two sides: a complex valve overdrive with 3 band Eq and a high headroom super clean boost on the right. The pedal is designed so that the boost runs into the valve overdrive side. This arrangement yields three distinct tonal variations ranging from clean boost all the way through to full and fat saturation."
Walrus just updated their classic Tremolo, which was already known for its rich, warm and pulsating modulation qualities. The Monumental Tremolo now is true stereo, fully analog optical tremolo, new and improved controls, features and thicker modulations. You can also now save your favorite settings in presets! Click above to learn more about what the Monumental Harmonic Stereo Tremolo is all about. Available in 2 color ways!
From Walrus Audio: "With different combinations of stereo panning, rate, division, and wave shapes, everything from traditional tremolo to inspiring unique waveforms will help you carve new paths that you won’t hear anywhere else.
Harken back to vintage tones inspired by Fender Brownface amps in Harmonic mode. A low-pass and highpass version of your guitar signal is modulated opposite of each other, or 180º out of phase (high and low frequencies rise and fall opposite of each other). The result is a warm, almost “chewy” tremolo. Turn the S-B-H counterclockwise to give more bite to your tremolo pulse and tame the out-of-phase harmonics."
RiCORDA or "You Remember?" ... is quite fitting for this box-o-nostalgia. Stereo Granular Reverb + Freeze/Loop. RICORDA packs a TON of sounds and options in this simple stomp box. Does it do reverb well? Oh yeah, incredibly actually. So it can work as a simple verb... but that is just the tip of the iceberg! You can easily add grain and imperfections to the mix while keeping it steady and concise (if you want!). The bottom row of small knobs controls the noise aspect in multiple parameters... allowing you to drill down an effect with precision. While the top row of large knobs controls the reverb effect. This is all before we even dive into the loop/freeze effect! Click on the image above to learn more about what this reverberant monster can do.
From AC Noises: "...RICORDA provides a multitude of parameters for sculpting and shaping the reverberant space. From controlling the density and size of the grains to modulating their feedback and stereo spread, the possibilities for sonic exploration are virtually limitless. With each adjustment, the reverberant environment evolves by revealing new dimensions and sonic possibilities, also thanks to the freeze/loop feature and the “hidden” secondary mode as well."
