Doepfer A-126-2 Frequency Shifter Vint. Edition

Module A-126-2 from Doepfer is an analog frequency shifter for audio signals that does simultaneous shift up and down and can also accept external quadrature VCOs. Different from a pitch-shifter, a frequency shifter applies the same frequency offset to any signal and the A-126-2 is unique in that it simultaneously adds and subtracts, giving you the option to blend between the two to dial in the best, or most gnarly sound—of course this is CV controllable. For dialing the perfect frequency, you have two knobs for Fine and Coarse adjustment which can be swapped via a jumper, should you prefer the larger for one role or the other. An internal VCA responds to Audio In's signal to create envelope following allowing for dynamic landscapes, and the sine and cosine internal oscillators have their own individual outputs. Indeed, with a range of about eight octaves from 20Hz to 15kHz, you can dial in screams, squelches, guttural burbles, and harmonically thick signals with ease using the A-126-2 from Doepfer.
