Doepfer A-179-2 Light Controlled CV [DEMO]

Doepfer's A-179-2 is a Light-to-CV controller with a built-in photoresistor that generates CV and gates. A simple idea that can become helpful in many performances or installations, the A-179-2 sends out higher voltage when more light is applied and fires off a gate at a specific threshold. There's also an inverted CV output, so you can have brighter light dip the voltage down instead. An external sensor is provided with a 2 meter patch cable, so your light source is not bound to your rack. Three knobs offer control over CV offset, CV level, and gate threshold to dial in the right amount of interaction. Grab an A-179-2 for a different dimension of interaction with your system.
